There has been a cafe in this building under the same name since 1926 as far as we know. It is well loved by many generations of many families, who have lived in, or visited the area since that time.
We would like to piece together the story of the pantry over the years, If you have any stories or recollections about the Pantry, we would love to hear about them, either speak to our staff or write us a note or send us an email.
Our aim is to keep Ann’s Pantry going in the way that many people remember it, good home cooked food with friendly service. We are putting our own addition to this in aiming to serve local produce as seasonally as possible. We are attempting to add some homegrown vegetables and salad, though this year’s weather is not helping much!
We are committed to serving fair trade tea, coffee and hot chocolate, which means the grower gets a good price as well as you getting the best quality cuppa.
Most of our baking is done in-house, using quality ingredients, free range Welsh eggs, real flavourings, and no nasties! The items that are not home made are made by central bakeries in Beaumaris, who deliver to us freshly every day.
We would love to hear any menu suggestions and if you know of any local suppliers who we are not already using who may be of interest to us, let us know!
