Yesterday we visited London for the LUNCH! 2012 trade show. The Business Design Centre in Islington was our destination for this show, which showcases new products, ideas and concepts for cafes.
We like to buy from UK companies which are quite small like us, so trade shows like this are great for finding them! There were lots of stalls trying to tempt us to buy their goods, and plenty of yummy food to try. We found some lovely new soft drinks for next season, and some even yummier pies!
With the virgin train service which gets you there in less than 3 hours, it’s an easy way to keep up with current trends. and a good excuse to see what’s on offer in London before it eventually reaches us!
We always come back from London full of ideas, so watch out for new menu items in the next few weeks!
